Deep inside your brainstem sits a small but extraordinary cluster of neurons called the Reticular Activating System. It is the gatekeeper between your unconscious and conscious mind.
Every second, your eyes, ears, skin, and nervous system are receiving 11 million bits of information. The temperature of the air. The sound of your own breathing. The pressure of the chair beneath you. The peripheral movement outside the window. Your conscious mind cannot process any of it at once.
So your RAS filters it. It selects 40 bits and passes those through. It discards the other 10,999,960.
The question is not what is out there. The question is what is your RAS programmed to let through.
This is not a flaw. It is a survival mechanism. But here is the part that changes everything: the 40 bits your RAS chooses are not random. They are chosen based on what your brain has been trained to look for. Based on your beliefs. Your identity. Your programming.
Your RAS is not neutral. It is not scanning for what is true. It is scanning for what is familiar.
From the moment you are born, your brain is building a model of the world. Every experience, every repeated message, every emotion that hit hard enough gets encoded as a belief. And your RAS uses those beliefs as its search criteria. It is continuously asking: what here matches what I already know?
This is why two people can walk into the same room, the same meeting, the same relationship and have completely different experiences. They are not seeing the same room. They are each seeing the 40 bits their RAS decided were relevant.
You are seeing the world as you are.
Have you ever decided to buy a red car and suddenly red cars were everywhere? They were always there. The roads did not change. But the moment red cars became relevant to you, your RAS started flagging them. Before that, they were filtered out as background noise.
Your brain does not show you reality. It shows you a filtered version of reality that matches what it already believes to be true. The world is full of evidence for abundance, love, safety, and possibility. If you cannot see it, the issue is not that it is not there.
Now apply that to your beliefs. If deep in your subconscious you are running the belief "I am not enough," your RAS is scanning every room, every conversation, every interaction looking for the red cars that prove it. And it will find them. Every single day. Not because they are the majority of what is there. Because they are the only things getting through.
It is not filtering for what is true. It is filtering for what matches your existing programming. The beliefs formed in childhood, the stories handed to you by parents, teachers, experiences: those became the car colour your RAS is looking for.
The reason affirmations, vision boards, and positive thinking alone do not work is that they operate at the conscious level. They are talking to the 40 bits. The program runs on the 10,999,960. To change the results, you have to change the filter. And the filter lives in the subconscious.
The Program works directly with the subconscious beliefs that are setting your filter. Through Subconscious Reprogramming and Somatic Breathwork, we go to the root of the belief, not the symptom. We change what your RAS is programmed to look for.
When the belief changes at a subconscious level, your RAS recalibrates. It starts scanning for different evidence. You begin to notice different things, attract different opportunities, and respond differently to the same situations because your filter has changed.
This is why change through The Program feels different. It is not about managing the old program. It is about replacing it.
Change the filter.
Change what you see.
Change what becomes possible.
